Abstract
India's economy, which was showing signs of recovery in early 2021 after the first COVID-19 surge, has now been hit by the second wave of the pandemic. Multiple states are enforcing lockdowns of varied severity, leading to reduced mobility and unemployment. What will be the long-term impact of this second round of disruption?
