Abstract

What are Platonic Solids? Platonic solids are a type of regular convex polyhedra, that are made up of a number of regular faces meeting at a vertex. There are five known platonic solids, namely the dodecahedron, cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, and the icosahedron.
