Abstract

The problem we study in this short note belongs to an extremely interesting class of geometrical problems. Typically, they deal with triangles with many lines drawn within them, intersecting at angles whose measures are an integer number of degrees. We are required to find the measure of some indicated angle. A common feature of these problems is that solutions using only pure geometry are difficult to find (though not impossible), and one is forced to fall back upon trigonometry
