Abstract

Access to justice is the most fundamental prerequisite to Rule of Law. This is one of the most recognized human rights of the citizens irrespective of economic and social status. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights proclaimed and adopted by the United Nations in 1948 gave recognition to two rights pertaining to “Access to Justice”.
