Abstract
The late Hyman P. Minsky is known primarily for his work on financial instability. But that work derived from a broader concern: Minsky devoted his career to understanding the shortcomings of capitalism and exploring how that system could be made to work better. Ending Poverty: Jobs, Not Welfare highlights Minsky’s reformist bent and, consequently, demonstrates that a commitment to full employment provides the foundation for Minskyan economics.
