The Austrian-British philosopher, Ludwig Wittgenstein said, “The limits of mylanguage are the limits of my world”(1961). As human beings, language issomething that we constantly use tosymbolize; we symbolize our feelings, our
needs and our thoughts. In other words, thelanguage we use is deeply enmeshed withinthe social context of its use. But how oftendo we turn our language classrooms intospaces of vivacious talk and selfexpression?
