Abstract

Social media tools have become essential for students' instant communication and collaboration. These platforms enable the interaction, sharing, and creation of information, videos, and im-ages in a virtual space facilitated by computers and mobile devices. They allow networked individuals to share and analyse each other's ideas, fostering a dynamic knowledge exchange that stimulates intellectual growth. Technology integration into education has revolutionised the teaching and learning process, with social media significantly shaping students' academic experiences. As a result, social media has become an integral part of modern education, profoundly impacting students' academic performance and engagement. Using social networking tools by UG and PG students at RV College of Architecture, Bangalore, enhances collaboration, knowledge sharing, and creative exchange. These tools al-low students to stay connected, access resources, participate in academic discussions, and engage in interdisciplinary projects, ultimately enriching their learning experience and fostering a more interactive educational environment.
